Lavandula Angustifolia Thumbelina

Lavandula angustifolia Thumbelina is a charming miniature Lavander with intensely compact flower heads very similar to Grape Hyacinth. It’s habit is neat and compact with mid green fine fragrant foliage and flowers are intensely bright and beautiful with very compact thumb to ball shape heads. After the first flowering usually early summer the plant should be cut back by half and shaped to the desired form and a second flowering will occur.

Thumbelina is the most early flowering angustifolia variety on the market, with early flowering from April throughout the summer until the frost sets in. Thumbelina is a good plant for pots on the patio, but it also thrives very well in flowerbeds in the garden. Thumbelina maturing to a height of about 40 cm (15 inches).

Thumbelina is the most compact variety currently in production and is drought resistant/drought tolerant.
